The role of those with definition in the Knowing Circuit is to be empowered to live as themselves. They empower others by being an individual example of uniqueness. Their way of re-ordering life, reflected in their lifestyle, requires an audience as this is how they bring mutation into the world. They need to be observed and to be recognized for their uniqueness.
As the name of the circuit implies, it is the inspired and intuitive knowing of each moment, in combination with the passionate or melancholic moodiness of the emotional wave, that forms or shapes the mutative impact the Individual's thoughts and behavior have on the rest of us. This combination is what makes the Individual's unpredictable, creative and unique moment by moment knowing empowering. Individuality is not about perfecting, mastering or organizing something. That is the Collective's contribution. Individuality is about birthing something totally new with the potential to transform both the Individual and the world around him.
The nature ofIndividual knowing is that it comes and goes; it's there and it's not there. Individuals don't know until they know. This knowing might be the answer, the right direction, or it might not. For Individual mutation to take hold universally, its value and validity must be tested over time. The power to mutate, which is common to all channels and gates in the Individual Group Circuit, is dependent on the on/off timing of this sudden knowing. Mutation operates in a pulse that cannot be controlled or anticipated. The fixed timing ofthe conservative Collective Circuit, and the hierarchical nature of the Tribal Circuit, keeps those circuit groups from engaging the inspiration or mutation of the moment on their own. Both groups are obliged to look to the Individual as a guiding force for change and transformation, helping them to avoid stasis and promoting their evolutionary progress. This energy of the new, however, leads the Collective and the Tribe to place Individual knowing under careful scrutiny, and leaves it open to criticism, which is why it is essential for all Individuals to be able to explain themselves.
Individuals are often admired for their difference and envied for the attention they receive. Their path is a vulnerable, truly personal, and sometimes lonely one however, and Individuals may never know that they have empowered someone else.
